Pentapod – Beach & Riverbank Protection

PentaPod is an innovation in concrete armor units designed to protect coastal areas and riverbanks from damage caused by waves and river currents. Unlike conventional armor units, PentaPod can be installed vertically and interconnected to increase its stability.
The units can be installed in a random, regular manner without strapping, or in a layered regular manner with strapping. The interconnected installation of PentaPods significantly increases the overall stability of the structure. The overall stability of the building is greatly exceeded by the installation of conventional concrete armor.
