PT Rekacipta Inovasi ITB as an extension of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) has succeeded in producing catalyst products through PT Katalis Sinergi Indonesia where PT.KSI is owned by 3 companies appointed as shareholders, namely PT Pertamina Lubricants, PT Pupuk Kujang and PT Rekacipta Inovasi ITB.

as for the mechanism of action on catalyst products that have been produced are divided into 3 categories, namely:

  • Hydrotreating : Hydrotreating catalyst is used to remove Sulfur, Nitrogen, and other contaminants from feed. Hydrotreating catalysts are commonly used in feeds of Naphtha, Diesel, Crude Oil, and others.
  • Oleochemical : Oleochemical catalyst utilizes the main ingredients of Crude Palm Oil, Fatty Acid Methyl Ester, and others. Processed products that use oleochemical catalysts include Biodiesel.
  • Adsorbent: Adsorbent catalysts are used by chemical manufacturers in the efficient processing of Ammonia, Methanol, and Hydrogen. The utilization of syngas is based on the abundance of natural gas and coal in Indonesia.

Hydrotreating

  • Diesel: PK- 240 TD, PK- 230 TD, PK- 240 HQ, PK- 230 HQ
  • Kerosene: PK 200 IDS, PK 200 NHDO, PK 200 HNS, PK 210 HS, PK 210 HDM, PK 200 HS
  • Naptha: PK 100 HS, PK 140 HQ, PK 110 HQ, PK 100 HDM, PK 200 UHD

Oleochemical

  • Oleochemical: ME Kat 300, ME Kat 200, ME Kat 100

Adsorbent

  • SGB Adsorbent
